Humbrol Black Gloss Enamel Paint (colour no. 21) is a rich jet-black that delivers a sharp, glossy finish, perfect for base coating, contrast lines and fine detailing.

An oil-based enamel that's suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, providing a high-opacity, fast-drying formulation that is touch dry in 20-40 minutes and hard dry within 24 hours. Once fully dry, the paint becomes permanent, forming a strong, scratch-resistant finish that withstands handling and wear. Ideal for brush application or airbrushing (with appropriate thinner), this enamel adheres well to surfaces including plastic, metal, wood, glass, ceramics, cardboard and more. Its glossy finish adds a professional look to model vehicles, trains, wargaming miniatures and other creative projects.
