Customer Support Specialist

Due to continued growth, we need another enthusiastic, organised and positive person to join us in our growing team of Customer Support Specialists. This role is a full-time role (Mon - Fri, 9.00 - 5.30), at our office in Southampton.

 

We are a team that likes to get things done and it can be very busy, so you will also sometimes help in the warehouse.

What does the role consist of?

Day to day, you will speak to customers on the phone, by email, live chat, via social media channels and sometimes face to face. The daily tasks include:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries and queries
  • Arranging balloon gas collections and deliveries through third-party suppliers
  • Investigating problems and finding solutions
  • Reviewing trade account applications
  • Processing website orders over the phone
  • Printing website orders
  • Calling customers regarding stock discrepancies and suggesting alternatives
  • Checking customer deliveries and dealing with our couriers
  • Monitoring industry Facebook groups for industry news and queries we can assist with
  • Dealing with returns
  • Raising invoices
  • Helping in the warehouse when needed
  • Speaking with suppliers regarding product due dates, order due dates, stock queries etc
  • Assisting the team with the day to day running of the business ie cleaning, research etc
  • Whatever else is required!

What sort of person will you be?

  • Are you organised and like everything around you to be organised?

What qualifications and experience will I need?

  • 6 GCSEs at grade C / 5 or above (or equivalent)
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience working in a team
  • The most important qualification is that you are enthusiastic about what you do
